Specialty / Spring Onion Rice


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3/4 cup pre-sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup AMPORT pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
  • 2 (8.8-ounce) pouches Uncle Ben's Ready Rice Original Long Grain Rice
  • Directions

    Prehead medium saucepan on medium-high 2-3 minutes. Place sesame oil in pan and swirl to coat. Add green onions and pine nuts; cook 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until golden.

    Stir in water and seasoned salt, mixing well. Squeeze rice pouches to break rice apart; stir rice into onion mixture. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 8-10 minutes or until rice is fluffy and liquid absorbed.
