Dates / No Bake Date Balls


Ingredients

  • 2 cups bran, wheat or corn flakes
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup AMPORT dates, chilled
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Sifted confectioner's sugar
  • Pecan halves
  • Directions

    Put cereal, dates and pecans through food chopper. To this, add honey, butter and lemon juice. Knead until well blended. Shape dough into small balls and roll in confectioner's sugar. Top with pecan halves. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
