

Prepare the apples, AMPORT dates and nuts. Cream together butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add the well beaten egg and blend until smooth. Stir in the fruit and nuts. Sift together the dry ingredients and add alternately with the sour milk. (Make sour milk by adding 1/2 tsp. vinegar to 1/2 cup milk.) Place in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan and let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes or until bread tests done.
